Course Summary
The "Web Development and Web Hosting" course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation in creating, designing, and publishing websites. Through a blend of hands-on projects and theoretical knowledge, students will learn how to structure and style webpages using HTML and CSS, and understand how websites function on the internet.
Key topics include HTML for structuring content, CSS for styling and layout . Students will also explore responsive design principles to ensure that websites are user-friendly on various devices. In the second half of the course, students will learn about web hosting, domain registration, and deploying websites live on the internet.
The course culminates in a final project where students will design, build, and host a fully functional website, applying all the skills learned. By the end of this course, students will have the confidence to develop and publish their own websites and an understanding of fundamental web hosting practices.

1. HTML & CSS Proficiency
- HTML Skills: Understand the structure of a web page using HTML tags, including semantic tags, forms, lists, tables, images, and multimedia elements.
- CSS Skills: Style web pages using CSS properties for color, layout, fonts, spacing, borders, and backgrounds. Gain familiarity with responsive design techniques like Flexbox and Grid.
